Balle & Lillelund, Brocante & Design opened its doors on June 1, 2020. Our first physical store and showroom is located in Denmark's first concrete building, the system house, which was designed by Mogens Lassen back in the 1930s.

It is owned by Jens Balle who has chosen this industry as his livelihood for the last 10 years. "It all started with a royal faun figurine, and then it went well with building up his own collection of Royal Copenhagen, Bing & Grøndahl's faun, bird and dog figurines. Miniature figurines and art nouveau pieces were added." Jens Balle is passionate about Danish porcelain and silver history.

Margit Lillelund was the store's visual merchandiser. She managed to make our products show off their best sides. With her love for the history of the products, she managed to make the store look like a big fairy tale that constantly changes its expression and fills our customers with curiosity about the history of the products. Margit came with 50 years of experience in the industry and has worked for Holmegaard, Royal Copenhagen, Bing & Grøndahl for many years. She was also able to add 20 years for Georg Jensen.

In the store at Ordrupvej 70b, 2920 Charlottenlund, we buy and sell gold & silver, all in porcelain from the great Danish designers, such as Royal Copenhagen, Bing & Grøndahl and Dahl Jensen.
